Ministries Outloud Serves In

The OUTLOUD vision is comprised of three C's which we feel are necessary focus points in ministry

Growing COMMUNITY: We are a family and we need each other in this growth process. God ordained that we grow together in community. Hebrews 10:24-25 says: "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching." A great benefit of community is that it keeps us humble and accountable. We see OUTLOUD as a community that loves one another, encourages one another, and challenges one another.

Loving CHRIST: Our greatest motivation to minister in music should simply be because we want to fall more in love with Jesus Christ. We exist to glorify Christ and to make His name famous. We do not simply want to play music! We want to be an example that encourages others to live lives of worship... "If we haven't learned to be worshipers, it doesn't really matter how well we do anything else." –William Barclay.

Serving the CHURCH: It is our job to constantly lay down our pride and esteem others as better than ourselves. In a world that put musicians on pedestals we have to constantly keep our pride in check and our focus on being servants. Serving the church comes in so many forms, we must constantly be willing to forget ourselves and serve in the manner necessary. With Christ as the ultimate example of servant hood, we should make a habit of keeping Him centered in our lives.
